Introduction to Wheel Throwing
Our Intro to Wheel Throwing Class addresses the basic for throwing on the wheel.
The first lesson starts with the basic techniques required for kneading, centering, hollowing, pinching and lifting. Different types of clay and properties will be explained, as well as your first look at the equipment and tools. Our goal upon completion of the first class is to create two small upright cylinder shaped pots, or bowls. The pots will then be allowed to set up or dry slightly in preparation for your next class.
